Sklar’s Guthrie Hook is a double-prong tissue hook used for handling and retracting tissue. They are often used in dermatologic and plastic surgery procedures but the tiny hooks also make this retractor useful in ophthalmologic and intranasal procedures. It is straight with two sharp, hooked, prong tips. Econo instruments are Sklar’s floor-grade, disposable instruments available in bulk quantities. They offer the greatest utility at the lowest cost. Econo instruments eliminate the need for cleaning and reprocessing, and reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination.
